One of the premier members clubs in mid-Essex, founded in 1893. The 18-hole course (par 68, 5,996 yards) was originally laid out by James Braid in 1910 at its Widford location, then expanded and redesigned by Harry Colt in 1925. Tight fairways, well-placed bunkers, and slick greens make it a deceptively tough test.
